We are starting to think about Easter activities as we approach the end of term. Our wall display is being transformed from space and aliens into a cheerful spring time scene. The children began to make daffodils using egg boxes, yellow paint and pipe cleaners. A jolly sheep has been made using torn tissue paper and paint and there are currently two large brightly coloured Easter eggs which will certainly be added to in the coming week.
We have enjoyed having Ellie as our work experience girl this week. The children love to see new faces and have enjoyed showing Ellie our lovely pre-school.
With the improving weather we have spent lot of time in the garden and the children have enjoyed den making, balancing activities, water play, making houses with our giant waffle bricks and dancing with scarves to music.
Construction remains one of the favourite activities and the children have been building interesting models using large and small Lego, stickle bricks and blocks.
Next week we will be focussing on Easter and preparing for our Eater Fayre and Easter Egg hunt on Friday which we hope that you will all be able to attend.
